Public Comment period

November
The public was invited to comment on a decision document which provides a determination of closure with long-term management for the Munitions Response Work Areas (MRWAs) 01 and 20 on the Camp Navajo Installation. This 30-day public comment comment period was held November 8, 2009 to December 8, 2009.

The public was invited to comment on a decision document which describes the completed actions for the closure of Navajo Army Depot (NAAD) 05, 06, 08B, and 09D sites on the Camp Navajo Installation. This 30-day public comment comment period was held from November 1, 2009 to December 1, 2009.

Notice of Availability

November
The Notice of Availability for the Final Explanation of Significant Differences (ESD) that describes changes to the removal action process originally described in the Final Decision Document, Removal Action, NAAD 09C Closed Open Burn Area, Camp Navajo, Bellemont, Arizona (DD), dated October 7, 2004 has been released.

September
The Notice of Availability for the NAAD 03 and NAAD 13 Final Decision Documents (DDs) for two Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) Sites has been released.

June
The Notice of Availability for the Final Decision Documents (DDs) for seven Open Burn/Open Detonation (OB/OD) Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) Sites has been released.
