To meet the information desires of the community and allow Flagstaff area residents to participate in the decision making process, community relations activities are scheduled throughout the environmental restoration program's process at Camp Navajo. Previous activities have included public notices, comment periods, meetings, mailings, site tours, and media days.

Community relations activities are scheduled to coincide with major milestones in the environmental restoration programs. Some public participation activities are required by law. Those activities not required by law may or may not be conducted, depending on the interest of the community. Additional public participation activities will be scheduled if community interest necessitates.
